The ArmourShield PLUS self-adhesive hexagonal shingle continues to be one of the most popular and appreciated shingles in the IKO residential shingle range.
Thanks to the self-adhesive bonding surface, it can be used regardless of the specific climatic zone, from the cold and remote lands of Russia to regions with extreme temperatures such as those in the Saharan desert or the tropical climate of the Indonesian archipelago. Due to its exceptional wind resistance, ArmourShield PLUS is a popular shingle in coastal areas as well as on mountain ridges. The wind performance of Armourshield PLUS shingles has been tested in a wind tunnel, obtaining very impressive results. All IKO shingles can easily withstand strong winds, but the self-adhesive ArmourShield PLUS shingle can withstand winds of up to 220 km/h and for these reasons it is one of the IKO shingles recommended for areas with extreme weather phenomena.
